CB certification

Update:2019-11-04  View:3711

Introduction to CB Certification:
The IECEE-CB system is a global mutual recognition system for the safety test results of electrical products established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Accredited Testing and Certification Organization for Electrical Products (IECEE). The CB system complies with the IEC safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards for relevant electrical and electronic equipment approved by IECEE, and realizes mutual recognition of the test results of 19 categories of electrical products including batteries, household appliances, information electrical equipment, and medical electrical equipment. There are currently 54 countries in the world that are members of the CB system.
Why apply for a CB test certificate?
The company that obtains the CB test certificate is conducive to the export of electrical products for household, office, workshop and similar places. It is directly related to the safety of the person. Such products are compulsory in some countries, that is, the certification certificate of the country is obtained. After that, it is allowed to export to the country and sell it in the country's market. Even in countries where compulsory certification is not implemented, consumers are willing to purchase products that have been certified with certification marks for their own safety.

Therefore, large department stores only sell certified products, which are also higher in price than card-certified products. Just like the power tools sold by mainland China to Hong Kong businessmen, they have better CB-certified products than uncertified products. The price is more than 2 US dollars each. The certified products can protect the user's personal safety, easy to sell and the price is relatively high. In addition, the company sells uncertified products and bears the risk of compensation loss. The company has the responsibility to compensate for the loss of the person or property. The occurrence of such accidents will have adverse consequences for China in the international market, and such products are difficult to find customers in international trade. Therefore, not only is it economically lost, but it also loses credibility.

CB certification advantages:
In the past, most of the electrical and electronic products needed to meet different regulations when entering the country. It is a difficult and time-consuming and expensive process to obtain product safety certification from various countries. But now relying on the CB system, manufacturers can obtain safety certifications in 54 countries at a time, and truly achieve one test to meet multiple test needs.
Manufacturers who have obtained CB certificates can greatly reduce costs, effort and time when applying for other certifications.
(1) The company can obtain CB test report and can be easily converted into VDE, GS, GOST-R, SASO, Australia RCM and other certification marks.
(2) CB test report can be easily converted to Chinese CCC certification or voluntary certification
(3) Obtaining CB certification is conducive to direct recognition by many countries, such as Southeast Asian countries.
The advantages of the CB system include:
Fast: Accelerate the certification of countries to make products enter the market faster
Efficiency: CB system processing applications are preferred when possible
Savings: saving work, saving test procedures, saving samples
Convenience: one-stop local testing can enter the international market
ATS has battery CB certification complete equipment
CB certification application method:
The CB certificate can be applied in two ways to obtain the certificate.
1) The product has obtained the CB test certificate, and the certificate is attached to the importing country to apply for the certification certificate of the country with the CB test report;
2) The product does not obtain the CB test certificate and directly applies to the importing country for the country's certification certificate. If the second procedure is adopted, the applicant must first send samples to the country according to the number of samples specified by the national certification body of the importing country. The designated test laboratory is tested and the test fee is paid.

After the sample test is qualified, the national certification body of the country sends an examiner or commissions a test station in China to review the quality assurance capability of the applicant company. After the examination is passed, the country's certification certificate can be obtained, and their logo can be used. For the procedure, the applicant only needs to send the obtained CB test certificate and CB test report (with the test results of the difference items proposed by the country) to the national certification body of the country, without sending samples or only sending individual samples. After the sample is reviewed, the test results can be approved. After the country's national certification body has passed the quality assurance capability of the factory, the certificate of certification can be obtained and the mark of the certification body of the country can be used.

Comparing these two programs, you can understand that the program is simpler and more economical than the second program. After obtaining the CB test certificate issued by the China Electrotechnical Products Certification Committee, the Chinese enterprise applies to the CB system member countries for the certification of the national certification body of the country; it is economical and time-saving.
CB certificate application notes:
1. Fill in the CB test certificate application form in English (typing).
2. The English name of the China Electrotechnical Products Certification Committee should be filled in between the four small black dots on the upper right of the first page of the application.
3. The application date should be clearly filled out.
4. If the applicant and the manufacturer are the same unit, fill in the same name and address in the column.
5. In the component column of the machine that has obtained the CB test certificate, if any, the component name and its cB certificate number should be filled in.
6. The legal representative signed the name of the legal representative, and the Chinese phonetic alphabet was typed and the legal representative personally signed it.
Note: When applying for CB certification, you need to inform the country to be included in the report so that the corresponding country differences can be taken into account during the test.
Can the CB certificate be withdrawn?
When they apply to join the IECEE-CCB as a member of the CB system, they should state that they endorse those IEC standards adopted by the IECEE and state that the differences in the national standards (if any) in the recognized standards are Two kinds: the difference from the national standard is expressed by "y"; there is a difference with the group, which is represented by "C"; no difference is represented by "r". If the following conditions occur, the national certification body that issued the certificate can revoke the CB test certificate. :
When a CB test certificate has been revoked, the national certification body that issued the certificate must notify the CCB secretary as soon as possible and explain the reasons for the withdrawal. The CCB secretary must inform the manufacturer and all national certification bodies participating in the CB system about the relevant standards for the cancellation of a CB test certificate and explain the reasons for the withdrawal. Each relevant national certification body may, at its discretion, withdraw the national certification or accreditation made on the basis of the CB test certificate.
CB certification features:
Three no: no valid period, no factory inspection, no certificate annual fee

Member of the CB system:
The IECEE-CB system is a multilateral mutual recognition system for IEC conformity assessment of electrical products successfully operated by the International Electrotechnical Commission's Conformity Assessment Bureau. It currently has 54 member states (Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China). , Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, South Korea, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Poland , Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States) and more than 60 national certification body members participated in the CB system It aims to provide a "one test, one certificate" conformity assessment model to reduce technical barriers to trade. Members recognize each other's CB test reports and certificates as a basis for obtaining national certification.
